Theme: Operations adding value to Society
The proposed theme for the EurOMA 2019 conference extends previous themes beyond manufacturing and services to wider societal and community implications and impact. The conference theme highlights a move beyond goods manufacturing to considerations of the shared economy, the circular economy, and also, to critical infrastructure and supply chains. EurOMA has had a tradition of tracks in various industries, and this theme specifically welcomes also health care operations, humanitarian operations, and public sector management.
